My partner Steven(28) and I (27) arrived in Sydney in December after travelling for 3 months. We are from the west of Ireland and trying to get settled in Sydney. We have been together 7 years and lived together for almost 6 years. We lived in one house together for 5 years and have a glowing reference from our landlord. I am a Veterinary Nurse and will be applying for sponsorship through my work so we are ready to settle ourselves into a longterm apartment. Steven is a mechanic/fitter and just recently got a full-time role in Arncliffe. We are currently looking for a short-term stay (~1 month) so that we can set ourselves up in our own apartment. We enjoy all aspects of beach living, like early morning/evening swims and long walks along the coast. We are not the party type and we much prefer spending our weekends camping, hiking and hanging out at the beach. We have been staying with friends in Bronte since we arrived but unfortunately their landlord is not on board with us staying any long-term.
