My guy, have we got a sweet set-up for you?! tl;dr ⭐️ $360/wk inc bills ⭐️ Queen bedroom (room is empty and 3.4x2.8m) in a 3bed 2bath apartment (see floor plan) ⭐️ Double mirrored built in wardrobe ⭐️ Main bathroom (with bath tub) shared with one other flatmate ⭐️ Fully furnished apartment ⭐️ Air conditioned living room ⭐️ Plenty of street parking ⭐️ Fully accessible - elevator = step-free access ⭐️ Gym & Outdoor pool ⭐️ Overlooks golf course and pool ⭐️ 2 amazing cats and 2 wonderful flatmates You are: 🤞 SW-friendly (both types of SW) 🤞 Coeliac or living that gluten-free life 🤞 In therapy or have been in therapy (hell yes levelling up those intrinsic skills is slay babe) 🤞 Into regular housework instead of binge-cleaning 🤞 Hopefully not allergic to cats 🤞 The space 🏠 3br apartment in Five Dock – leafy golf course views from the balcony. Many plants, mostly edible or resilient. 🏠 Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. A tension road has been mounted in the main bathroom for extra hanging space. Gas stove. 🏠 Disability and neurodivergence supportive. Between us we’ve collected maybe half the alphabet with all the acronyms, maybe you can help us finish the set? 🏠 Comes with its own google calendar for easy planning. Trello for routine/recurring things like groceries/tasks/chores/bills. 🏠 Entertainment: Netflix, Prime, flixify, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Spotify. The TV has an Apple TV thingy plugged in so more accounts can be easily added. 🏠 Facilities: There is an outdoor pool that’s open October – April each year. There is a gym. It is very original (30yrs old?) but most of the stuff works. 🏠 Transport: 10mins to Parramatta Rd buses (express to city or 10mins to Burwood station), or catch the 415 bus to Chiswick Wharf and catch a ferry. There is street parking in the area. The Residents 🐈‍⬛Diego (rat/cat)– 17yo Siamese gentleman of leisure, retired buccaneer. Still has swagger and has never found a boundary that he couldn’t cross. Extremely friendly and a passionate self-advocate, he'll tell you what he wants. 🐈Beans (stinky/baby) – 6yo rescue tabby and resident Aloof Floof. Loves to play Hi-5 and biscuit chasey, will flirt for treats or whatever you’re eating including hummous. If you have any kind of allergy to cats, she will be your downfall – her coat is so soft and fine it’s like asbestos ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. 🦄Penny (they/them) – It’s me! 37, AuDHD, Queer, Disabled, poly-am, long time SW now corporate whoooring because disability is fukking me harder than late-stage capitalism and paid sick leave is so sexy rn. I work 2 jobs and am out of the house A Lot. When I am home, I’m probably recovering from existence (sleeping), cooking or begging my plants to not die. Sometimes I play Genshin Impact on the PS4 in the loungeroom. I manage the primary household finances in terms of direct-debits, etc. Beans stays in my room at night. 🦓Leah (she/her) – She’s a scientist, she’s an artist, she’s dyslexic so stop sending messages and just call FFS. 46, Straight, Coeliac, Disabled, works part-time from home. Has a very awesome support worker that comes and does support worker things once a week. Extra-extrovert, loves card games, board games, playing pool, accessible adventures. Diego generally stays in Leah’s room at night, but he can also open doors so YMMV.
