About the house

My name is Alicia, I'm a multi-lingual journalist who moved up to Central Victoria to work in a small newspaper. I spent most of my twenties traveling and moving to new places- I've lived in Mexico, Japan, Portugal, and Sri Lanka. I have a two bedroom house a few blocks down from Kalimna Park, which is lovely for a walk in the mornings or afternoons. The house is also only a 10-15 minute walk to town and to the train station. It's an older style country home with floorboards throughout and lovely afternoon sun that streams through the kitchen window. The lounge room features a spilt system heating cooling unit and an enclosed fire place. There's an open dining and kitchen space with heaps of bench space and an adequate gas stove and oven. The bathroom is shared and has a separate walk in shower and bathtub. Outside there's a laundry and I've just started a veggie patch. The room on offer includes a double bed, chair, chest of drawers, mirror, and bed side tables. All bedding etc is also included.
