I’ve got a beautiful, well trained, silent Border Collie that is with me almost all the time I’m not at home. I’m looking for a happy and positive person (sorry, no couples) who is clean and tidy. Full details below. Single room based in McCowan St, Ashmore (Southport side, not sure why the app keeps listing Parkwood). The price includes all furniture, electricity and water (reasonable usage), unlimited internet, Netflix, all cleaning and clothes washing consumables, toilet necessities, all cooking, eating and electrical appliances as well as heaps more. You can just turn up with your clothes and toiletries if you want and you’ll be fine. Perfect for someone who wants a chilled, peaceful place to live. Work / study visas singles, GCUH staff, Griffith Uni students and good people. Please read entire ad before replying as it will answer many of the questions you may have. The ad is up so the room is available. Space, private yet sociable, safe, relaxed and happy house with a single room available. Skip the tension of working out shared bills / cost of consumables. Everything is included except food. Idiot free household. $350/week. Two weeks bond and two weeks rent in advance. Bond lodged with QLD Residential Tenancy Authority (RTA). The room is very quiet (quiet street), has a double sized built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers, double bed with side table and lamp. Fresh pillows, towels, sheets and brand new doona cover / pillow cases included. A/C and new fan included in room. You’ll be sharing with myself, a South American couple on a work study visa and my silent, highly trained Border Collie. Super-relaxed environment with utmost respect given to personal privacy. This is a great house with everything you want and need included in the lodging. Located right on the border of Southport and Ashmore. Griffith Uni is a 3.7km cycle or bus journey, Surfers Paradise is a 5.7km cycle / drive, Ashmore Plaza (Woolworths) a 1.0km cycle or walk, Aldi approximately 1.5km, multiple bus links approximately 100m away on both Southport-Nerang Rd and Cotlew St. Three gyms (Anytime Fitness, World Gym, UFC Gym) within 800-1200m walk. The household is strictly smoke free. Not a party house. High quality furnishings include two large stainless steel fridges, leather lounges, Miele front loading washing machine plus dryer, large outdoor setting for rear verandah, new Weber BBQ plus heaps more. A/C in the lounge / living area. Shared bathroom (separate toilet) is modern and clean. Yes, I know these are essentially meaningless items of comfort. The value is in the the ‘vibe’ of the space!
