About the house

Hi everyone! I have a furnished room in a spacious and modern townhouse that I would like to fill because I am going to be away on exchange. I am looking for someone who is ideally younger than 26, cat friendly (she is looked after by another housemate), and can stay for at least 5 months between the 27th of July to the 9th of January 2026. Location and public transport: • Quiet part of Oakleigh tucked away from main roads. • Close to various supermarkets (Oakleigh Central 2.5km away and The Links 3km away). • 6-minute walk to Huntingdale Station on the Pakenham/Cranbourne line. • 6-minute walk to the 601 Monash University Shuttle Bus at Huntingdale Station which will be handy for any students. • 3 min walk to the 630 (Elwood-Monash University) bus. The house: • A modern three bedroom, two story townhouse with a large living and dining area along with a cute little backyard and patio. • Fully furnished for comfortable living (Large Fridge/Freezer, Gas Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, and Split System heating & cooling in each room). • On-street and off-street parking available. • I have some pots, pans, plates, bowls, and cutlery that you’re welcome to use. The room: • Queen bed still with ample space to move around the room. • Heating and air-conditioning. • Furniture: Work/study table, chair, mirror and various storage cabinets. • Medium-sized built-in wardrobe. • Shared bathroom (toilet, shower, and bath) with one housemate. • Another toilet on the bottom floor. • All bills shared equally with housemates. • Bond is $980.
