About the house

Hey everyone! We have a spacious/lovely room in our Alexandria apartment available for rent, looking for females only, no pets and no couples sorry, preferably young professional and knows how to keep a place tidy. Rent is $626.67 per fortnight (bills not included), bond is 4 weeks, prefer 12 months stay. Location is SUPERB with good housemates! Move in date: 11 July 2024. Over the road/on the corner: Sydney Park and buses to Redfern, Central, Bondi Junction, Leichardt, Randwick & Wolli Creek. Within 5 min walk: Large Woolies, bottle shops and cafes etc. 8 min walk to St Peters station 15 min walk to Erskineville station 15 min walk into Newtown About the room: This is the second bedroom; spacious (fits a queen sized bed and a small desk) unfurnished and carpeted with lots of sunlight. You will share a toilet and a bathroom (they are separated) with one of the housemates. A secure, underground car space is also available if you need it. About the apartment/complex: The kitchen is brand new with loads of cupboard space and a brand new stove top/oven, fridge and a dishwasher. Small internal laundry, with dryer, included. The living room is spacious and airy, with loads of natural light. Attached is a cosy balcony which is perfect for enjoying the sun and people watching! The complex is amazing with a gym, swimming pool, and lots of visitor parking. About the flatmates: -Mrudula is a 30 y/o IT professional who is in a hybrid role and works from home. Outside work she likes to go for evening walks and coffee runs in the morning, friendly and always down for a chat or a glass of wine. She is respectful and also enjoys her own quiet time. -Tee is a single 30 y/o working performance artist & teacher. Outside of my work, you'll often find me staying active with workouts, enjoying drinks with friends, or simply relaxing at home. I'm friendly and enjoy good conversations, but I also value quiet time. We're both very friendly, easy going and open to meeting your friends/partner as well - we love being a welcoming home!
