About the house

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a new housemate to join me in Canterbury. New place but will be furnished (besides your room). It's currently empty for reno so I'm including photos from the real estate for you to have an idea of what it'll look like ☺️ please keep in mind floorboards will replace the carpet, hence the availability. Available: Mid Oct Suburb: Canterbury Viewings available this Saturday 5/10 ❤️ About the room: - 350pw/ 450pw for couple, paid fortnightly in advance - Monthly bills split equally - Bond: 4 weeks of rent - Own bathroom with bathtub - 3 x 4m - 2 built in wardrobes - Will be unfurnished 🧡 About the apartment: - Centrally located in Canterbury, 3 mins walk away from shops (Woolies and Aldi), public transport (both train and buses, Metro to come at some point lol) - (Will be) fully furnished. Although idk how I feel about a TV, you're fine to bring yours though! - Internal laundry with dryer - Newly renovated household so it'll be fresh 😩🙌🏻 - No shoes inside 👞🙅🏻‍♀️ - I cook often, generally quite multicultural food so there will be mixed cooking scents. - There is free street parking on my street or adjacent streets 💛 Accessibility: - Swipe lift access to ground, basement and our level - Hallways within the apartment is not big enough to fit a wheelchair comfortably unfortunately - No stairs or steps to access the apartment. It's a pretty flat walk with ramps 💚 About me: Anna - 28, all round Gemini, I'm lovely I swear 🥲 (queer, she/her/they/them): working FT in healthcare. Very social and chatty and has a packed schedule, however loves my me time as well. Quite active and loves the beach 🫶 I'm very fun loving and am considerate of others, have lived in beautiful shared homes before with amazing dynamics. I can certainly provide references. I will bake you cookies, listen to your rants, and be a supportive housemate. 💙 What I'm looking for: - Clean and tidy person who respects shared spaces and appliances, who will clean up after themselves and is proactive about keeping the household clean. I'm a clean freak but not unreasonable, so that's the most important expectation. - Mid 20s+ - Preference for women, gender-diverse people, and queer men - Social and down to hang out and have a chat or a drink in the common space, but also do their own things - The home is very dear to my heart so someone who will stay long-term and can find a home in it too 🫶 I've always lived with close friends or people who then became close friends, so hoping to find someone who can become a friend too 🥰 - Due to the nature of my job, I work from home a few days/ week in my own room, no strict schedule, just vibes, sometimes in and out, so someone who can understand and be respectful of that 9-5 ish ☺️ - No pets sorry - I love hosting so there will be BBQs, board game nights, cook-offs, etc. occasionally. 💜 Questions?
