About the house

My housemate and I have just found a new place to live and we need housemates to join us. It is a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house in Blackburn, 2 bedrooms are quite big and 2 a bit smaller. Rent is $3215/month which for four people works out to $803.75. We would ideally like a couple or siblings/friends that dont mind sharing to take one of the two big rooms, I would take the other big one, and then the other housemate would take the small room and maybe put extra stuff in the other small room. We can take two individuals but that would mean one would be in a small room and we'd both be having to store things in the living area so that is why I think 2 people in a big room is better. The lease begins on the 15th of March so we have not yet moved in, the sooner we find people the better. This means you cant yet inspect the house but you can meet us and I made a video tour of the property you can see, perhaps if you want we can go have a look at it. It has ducted heating and a split system in the main living area, when I inspected it the temperature outside was 31 but it was reasonably cool inside despite no aircon being on and few windows open. There is a large driveway with ample parking and a garage, I have a car so I may use that, if you have a car we can negotiate parking space and time. The house has the 270 bus right out the front, the 279 and 303 are up the road. North Blackburn SC is up the road. Blackburn railway station and the Eastern Fwy are nearby. Box Hill Central and Eastland aren't far away. It is a great location if you work or study in the eastern suburbs, it isn't far from the city or southeast for work and study there. We work and do not intend this to be a party house. Whether you work, study, are on DSP, or unemployed that's cool we don't care. We just require you to be clean, respectful, professional, pay rent and utilities. Queer friendly, minority friendly, etc You will be on the lease and will need to be able to fill out a leasing application with all relevant documentation, and the real estate agent says there will be a transfer fee. We do not have white goods or furniture to bring so if you did have a fridge/washing machine/etc or were willing to chip in that would certainly help.
