ROOM FOR RENT IN AUSTRAL – LOOKING FOR A HOUSEMATE 🏡 I’m looking for a working, mature woman to share our home with myself and my 10-year-old daughter. The home will be a shared household, meaning all common areas and facilities are shared between everyone. I’m looking for someone who is respectful, reliable, considerate and, most importantly, clean and tidy. ✨ ABOUT THE HOME • Spacious double-storey home • Fully furnished shared areas • 1 bedroom available — unfurnished, with a walk-in wardrobe and a lock on the door • Shared bathroom with shower & bathtub • Ducted air conditioning • Decent-sized backyard • Outdoor entertaining area with pergola and outdoor seating • Upstairs library with an office desk & chair • Walk-in pantry • Walk-in linen closet • Access to all household appliances including TV, washing machine, fridge, oven, dishwasher, etc. • Home has a small cavoodle, who is mostly outdoor. 👩‍👧 WHO YOU’LL BE LIVING WITH You’ll be sharing the home with myself and my 10-year-old daughter. The house is a shared space, so you’ll have access to and share the kitchen, living areas, outdoor areas, bathroom and other common areas of the home. Your bedroom will be your own private space and has a lock for your privacy and security. 📋 LEASE The successful housemate will be added to the lease, so this will be an official tenancy arrangement rather than a subletting arrangement. 💰 BILLS & HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES Bills will be shared as follows: • 💧 Water – 35% • ⚡ Electricity – 35% • 🔥 Gas – 50% • 📶 Wi-Fi – ⅓ For household necessities, my previous housemate and I took turns purchasing things needed around the house. I’m happy to continue with a similar arrangement, or you’re welcome to purchase and use your own preferred products if you prefer. 🧼 CLEANLINESS IS A HARD BOUNDARY This is extremely important to me. I’m looking for someone who is clean, tidy and hygienic and who will clean up after themselves and help maintain the shared areas of the home.
