About the house

The House: A modern 2 1/2 level house with great views, close to public transport and great bars / eateries. Only a 15 minute drive from the CBD, and close to the Maribyrnong river. The top floor consists of two spacious bedrooms (we're thinking of using the spare unoccupied room as a study / spare bedroom) and a private double basin bathroom with a shower & large bathtub. The bedroom of choice will come fully furnished including a virtually brand-new Koala mattress, bed frame, bed-side tables and chested drawers. The middle floor consists of the living area, laundry and our bedroom. With a large kitchen, there is plenty of cooking space as well as food storage including a walk in pantry. We also have a large Samsung fridge / freezer, as well as a bar fridge in the garage. We both meal prep, so the kitchen is always kept neat & tidy. The laundry includes a brand new washer & dryer. About Us: Ailish - 25, a nurse currently working in an emergency department. I enjoy spending my time chilling out watching tv or reading a book and also love to have a cheeky wine or two with friends. I also play netball a few times a week so am in and out of the house :) Lachie - 24, an operations manager, working both in the office and from home. I enjoy spending my free time training jujitsu several nights a week, and watching the footy or UFC come the weekends. Bella - 12, our fur child (definitely not our actual child). Enjoys spending her time sleeping (both indoors & outdoors), giving puppy dog eyes in exchange for pats or treats. Is however, a bit of a freeloader and doesn't pay any bills.... She loves humans, and is a gentle giant. Who we're looking for: Ideally looking for another couple around the same age to us, with similar interests to occupy the top floor of our 2 1/2 level house. NOTE: Rent for couples would come down to $160.50 per individual. Open to having an individual who also shares similar interests.
